F O C U S - I bought a random bead bracelet from a bookstore last summer simply because a friend of mine was talking shit about dudes that wear bracelets (multiple bracelets to be specific). It started as a joke but I now wear it everyday. Here’s why: I can’t remember what language but apparently they are prayer beads and the saying engraved on them says, “where you place your will, there you will succeed.” I liked that a lot.

The first tattoo I ever got says εστίαση meaning focus in Greek.

When my dad was teaching me to ski as a child he always said, “when you’re skiing through the trees, don’t look at the trees. Look at the spaces between trees.”

That’s three examples and two photos to remind you this Monday to keep your eye on the prize. Where you focus your energy and attention is where you will go and where you will succeed.
